MMADecisions.com was launched in August 2010 in an attempt to provide commentators, critics, promoters, fans and even regulatory bodies with an unbiased and comprehensive record of individual judge's performances.

To this end, the site shies away from commentating on these performances. Instead, MMADecisions.com intends to be a launch pad for others to hold important discussions on these issues with as many facts available to them as possible.

Originally, MMADecisions.com only captured decision data for UFC events. In its first year of existence, decision data from the WEC, Strikeforce and Bellator was added.
